Ο Αμερικάνος άσος της Αρμάνι Μιλάνο δήλωσε στο SkySport πως ο συμπαίκτης του σκοπεύει να φορέσει τη φανέλα των Χιούστον Ρόκετς και να γίνει ο πέμπτος Ιταλός που παίζει στο κορυφαίο πρωτάθλημα μπάσκετ μετά τους Μπαρνιάνι, Μπελινέλι, Γκαλινάρι και Ντατόμε.
Ο 22χρονος Ιταλός επελέγη στο νούμερο 53 του ντραφτ από τους Μινεσότα Τίμπεργουλβς, όμως οι «Ρουκέτες» απέκτησαν τα δικαιώματά του μέσω ανταλλαγής. Έτσι, φαίνεται πως ο Τζεντίλε θα σπάσει το τριετές συμβόλαιο που υπέγραψε με την Αρμάνι Μιλάνο και θα γίνει συμπαίκτης του Κώστα Παπανικολάου στους Ρόκετς.
